Hi, I’m Rae.

I’m an actress from Duluth, Georgia.

I’ve been a performer for most of my life. I started dancing at age three and continued until I graduated high school in 2022. During those years, I trained in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and tumbling.

I also developed a love for singing at a young age. I began performing in elementary school talent shows before joining my fifth-grade chorus. From there, I sang in school choirs throughout middle and high school. Later, I spent all four years at Hofstra University as a member of the Mixed Choir.

Discovering My Passion for Acting

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit during my sophomore year of high school, I realized I wanted to pursue theater and acting. As a result, I enrolled in my high school’s Intro to Theater class over Zoom during my junior year, and I loved it. The following year, I continued into the theater performance class in person.

During my senior year, I worked as a scare actor for the theater’s haunted house during the first semester. I also performed as an ensemble member in our One Act production of The Pajama Game. Then, during the second semester, I played the Cat in Animal Farm: The Musical. I even had the opportunity to perform the solo in “The Green Flag.”

Through those experiences, I fell in love with both performing and the rehearsal process. Because of that, I decided to major in theater.

Studying Theatre at Hofstra

After graduating high school, I attended Hofstra University on Long Island, New York. There, I learned about the traditional theater audition process, what casting directors look for, and how to become more confident in the audition room.

During the spring semester of my sophomore year, I auditioned for the Musical Theatre minor with “The Ballad of Jane Doe” from Ride the Cyclone. Fortunately, I was accepted on my first attempt. From that point on, I focused on refining my audition material, building my audition book, and strengthening my vocal technique through private voice lessons.

Performance Experience

Throughout my time at Hofstra, I auditioned for department productions every semester I could. Then, during the fall semester of my senior year, I received a callback and was cast as CB’s Sister in Dog Sees God by Bert V. Royal, directed by Royston P. Coppenger.

I’m incredibly grateful to have worked with such a talented director while sharing the stage with so many gifted friends, castmates, and fellow performers.

Looking Ahead

In May 2026, I graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and a minor in Musical Theatre.

Currently, I’m seeking acting opportunities in the Atlanta, Georgia, area while continuing to grow as a performer. At the same time, I’m looking forward to the day I can return to New York and continue pursuing my career there.
